they may sometimes fight over one thing:toys,book etc.
but funny when the other is not around one looks for the other
they are each other's company.Or each other's accomplice.

disciplining your child

i am a mother of two,my little girl is 31/2 years old and my little boy is 18 months old.To be honest,its been very difficult for me at times to cope with tantrums.In as much as i'd like to please them and give them what they want...still my limited understanding of their "complex" little mind,i can do just as much.When maeve would ask for something that she thinks she really,really wanted to do...and i would often times give her the go signal ....you think its picture perfect..nothing's wrong with it ..right?Wrong.Its so complex,when in a sudden moment she will shreik and starts to cry...and here i am so bewildered of what had transpired when all i did was to say yes.Now the thing that frustrates me is when i try to know why and ask her what's wrong..so what can you expect from a 3 year old?A long playing cry that lasts for ages....with a dramatic ending of gags and throw ups. What do you do? I am but human...it does come to a point that i have to smack her....and so i did. Had the crying stopped?Well,eventually it did.
